Applications for Made for Encounter 2025/26 open today!! - Tuesday 1st July!! MfE is an intentional monthly training space where you will grow and learn as a disciple of Jesus, experience healing and equipping to share His Kingdom wherever you are.
Office, school gate, business, college/uni, hospital, gym, shop floor, family, on a video call or even with a neighbour over the garden fence...
As disciples of Jesus we all have places we regularly GO, with an opportunity to share His Kingdom.
Invest time over the next year (9 Saturdays) to explore what it means to go into these spaces knowing that you are Made for Encounter.

This Sunday, the EBC Kids explored Psalm 46 and what it means to say God is our fortress. ๐ก๏ธ
They reflected on how God protects, strengthens, and stays with us โ then responded with these beautiful words and drawings:

We celebrated and prayed for our kids and young people who are transitioning up to kids, youth and finishing their time in youth. Letโs remember them in prayer this summer as they move on in their school journey!! ๐๐โ๏ธ

What a wonderful Fatherโs Day at EBC hearing about the Father heart of God! ๐ค
So lovely to pray for and celebrate the Men in our church this Fatherโs Day! And we remember that today may be difficult for many for different reasons ๐
James took us through Philippians 2 as we explored how Godโs Love was shown through his suffering and the cross and what that means for us today!
Some reflection questions that were shared from this morningโs service:
- Where am I grasping rather than giving?
- Where am I drawn to ease over sacrifice?
- How can I reveal the Fatherโs heart in my family, friendships, church & community?
