Today, Niall spoke to us about the power and purpose of prayer, reminding us that we’re invited to pray boldly, persistently and expectantly. 🙏

As we prepare for Global Week of Prayer starting this week, we were encouraged to make prayer a priority and to believe that God hears us when we call on Him.

We are thankful for His Presence with us at EBC throughout today. May we never take this for granted or lose the wonder of His grace, mercy & love.

✝️This morning Niall & Pam concluded our teaching series on ‘The River’ looking at Amos 5:21-24.
‘But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never failing stream.’
vs 24.
Kingdom JUSTICE rolling/flowing through us looks like….a powerful natural river.
True Kingdom Justice should flow continuously & reshape society rather than be occasional or controlled.
It demands genuine fairness, care for the poor & honest treatment of others in our daily lives.

✝️We also looked at Rev 22:1-5 and the incredible hope we have that all of creation will be restored as the river flows.

🫶🏻Thanks to all who attended our Annual Safeguarding Training & to every person who served across all EBC Teams!

🍕Tonight EBC Youth had a fantastic social and then we all joined together for a special Make Room. It was awesome to have our young people pray for us all. 🔥

This Sunday, Niall carried on our The River series as we journeyed through Psalm 1 🙌

What does it look like to live a truly blessed life? Psalm 1 reminds us to be aware of the voices and influences shaping us, to stay deeply connected to God, and to draw continually from the life-giving river He provides.

Niall reminded us that, like a tree planted by streams of water, when we stay connected to God, we can bear fruit in the right season, remain rooted through every season, and receive everything we need from Him!

It was so good to be together as church family, and especially seeing our young people leading us in prayer! 🙏

And our crèche & kids met today too, with crèche doing some fun river play! We love seeing every generation discovering more about God and His living water.

What would it look like to live your whole life through the river? 🌊 ...
