Today at EBC was something special 🙌🔥

Our youth had the honour of leading the service. From worship to the games, from powerful prayers to preaching, from production to details behind the scenes, they showed up with passion, excellence, and faith. It was INCREDIBLE. 🙌🏻

We looked at prayer through James and were reminded of the power of persistent, faith filled prayer and the difference it makes in our lives and in our church.

We are so proud of this generation and so grateful for a church that makes space for them to lead, grow, and use their gifts. This is what it looks like when a church believes in the next generation ✨

The future is here and it is bright 🌟 ...

We love what God is doing amongst us & appreciate ALL who serve & lead as we gather as a growing Church Family across all ages.

Today Niall spoke on James 3:1-18 about ‘taming our tongues’ and the power & influence we each have as we use our words, especially for those who teach and lead.🔥

We shared Communion together and took time to repent & thank God for His grace & mercy. It was also our joy to welcome new members to EBC. 🙏🏻🥰🙏🏾

Our Community Lunch led by Julie & our amazing Pop-Up Service & Kids Teams, was fantastic & everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch! 😋 Thanks to all our guests who came along.

What a special Sunday at EBC! 🙌🏻

This morning Niall preached from James 2:14–26, reminding us that faith isn’t just something we say, it’s something we live. True faith is active. It moves. It loves. It serves. 🙏🏻

Tonight we gathered again for Make Room, spending time in prayer across the same stations used earlier this week during our 24-hour prayer night. It was powerful to return to those spaces and to pause, reflect, intercede, and make room for God to move in us and through us.

Grateful for a church family that not only hears the Word but responds to it. 🙏

✨Such an incredible sense of God’s
Presence with us.
✨A beautiful unity, hunger & thirst amongst

lives, church, community, city & nation.

What a Sunday at EBC! ✨
We had a great Made for Encounter Sunday with Debra Green OBE DL speaking!

Debra spoke powerfully on the Good Samaritan and what it really means to love your neighbour. It was a timely, challenging and deeply encouraging word that landed with grace and truth.

It was incredible to see so many people gather that we had to overflow into the café space ☕🔥 What a joy! And so good to have our youth and kids on too, encountering God together as one church family.

Grateful for all God is doing among us and expectant for what’s ahead. 🙌🏻 ...

✝️ As a Church Family right now - we are ALL learning & exploring what it means to live out faith in Jesus practically from the book of James in God’s Word.
🤪On Sunday at EBC kids we were in James Chapter 3 thinking about taming our tongues!
🙊We tried to put toothpaste back into the tube which is really hard!
🗣️We were thinking about how when words are said we can’t put them back in!
💡We also started prayer diaries in each group off the back of our training time on Saturday with @kirstyrdean
🤩 EBC Youth were also exploring James and having fun!
🙌🏻 And EBC adults were challenged to consider how we connect God’s treatment of us in the gospel with our treatment of others in EBC.

Let’s ALL keep digging into God’s Word throughout the week. 🔥
