What a great Sunday together at EBC this Palm Sunday! 🌿
Incredible worship and such a special time together. Thank you to everyone who served, to all the teams who made the morning possible, and to everyone who came along! Riodhna spoke from Matthew 22:1–11, helping us reflect on the difference between the King we often expect and the King we truly have in Jesus.
It was a full and joyful morning with crèche, kids, and youth all gathering and learning together!
A huge thank you as well to everyone who stayed after the service to help deliver leaflets into our community. Your time and willingness to serve make a real difference. 🙌🏻
Grateful for all that God is doing among us.✨

As we head into the Easter season, our community spaces & services will be taking a break from Monday 30th March to Tuesday 20th April.
We’re so grateful for our incredible staff & amazing volunteers who make these spaces possible week in, week out. We hope you enjoy a truly well-deserved rest 💛
While our regular spaces pause, we’ll still be gathering for a special programme of Easter events & Holy Week activities, and you’re invited!

What a full and encouraging weekend at EBC!
Niall wrapped up our series on James, speaking from James 5 on patience, perseverance, and how waiting is active. 🙌
Alongside that, we gathered for a church meeting after where we had the privilege of praying for John Mason as he retires, so thankful for his faithful service 🙏
It was also great to share time together at our community lunch, and to see so much life across the church with youth, crèche, and kids all meeting and growing 🎉
And to top it off, we had an amazing time at Magnitude Worship the night before, with the biggest group we have ever taken 🔥
Grateful for all God is doing in and through our church family ✨

Such a great Sunday at EBC ✨
In our Sunday morning gathering we had the opportunity to celebrate and honour the amazing women in our church family 💐 Pam also brought a great word from James 4:1–17, encouraging us to draw closer to God and live with humility and surrender. 🙏 We also spent time praying for and commissioning our new crèche team, thanking them for the way they serve our youngest members. 🙌🏻
In the evening we gathered again for Make Room, which was a great space to worship and pray together as we made room for God to move. ✨ The youth had a social earlier in the evening and then joined us which made the night even better.
So thankful for this community and all that God is doing. 🙏🏻

What a day….🏴✝️🔥
✨We prayed & welcomed Riodhna into her
new role on staff at EBC.
🙏🏻 Donna MacNeill brought an amazing
& timely word about Prayer being a key
strength in this season at EBC.
(Made in Scotland from Girders!)
✝️ And tonight Kenny Borthwick taught
powerfully from Matthew 5&6 about how
we as beloved children of God can bring
honour to our Father.
Thanks to all who came along to our gatherings today & served to make both possible. Special thanks to our incredible EBC Worship & Production Teams who led us so well. 🎸🎤🎹🥁🎻

Today at EBC was something special 🙌🔥
Our youth had the honour of leading the service. From worship to the games, from powerful prayers to preaching, from production to details behind the scenes, they showed up with passion, excellence, and faith. It was INCREDIBLE. 🙌🏻
We looked at prayer through James and were reminded of the power of persistent, faith filled prayer and the difference it makes in our lives and in our church.
We are so proud of this generation and so grateful for a church that makes space for them to lead, grow, and use their gifts. This is what it looks like when a church believes in the next generation ✨
The future is here and it is bright 🌟

We love what God is doing amongst us & appreciate ALL who serve & lead as we gather as a growing Church Family across all ages.
Today Niall spoke on James 3:1-18 about ‘taming our tongues’ and the power & influence we each have as we use our words, especially for those who teach and lead.🔥
We shared Communion together and took time to repent & thank God for His grace & mercy. It was also our joy to welcome new members to EBC. 🙏🏻🥰🙏🏾
Our Community Lunch led by Julie & our amazing Pop-Up Service & Kids Teams, was fantastic & everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch! 😋 Thanks to all our guests who came along.
