We are so grateful for God’s Presence amongst as we welcomed, worshipped, loved, served, prayed & spent time in His Word & responding to who He is together.

Niall brought a powerful word from Daniel Chapter 3 in our ‘Standing Out’ teaching series. We explored together:
✝️ The Issue of Idols in our Lives..
“A person’s god is the thing or person that one is most concerned about,
thinks the most about, or affects one’s life the most.” Paul Tillich
✝️ God is Present in our Suffering..
Daniel 3 – reminds us that He might not prevent the flames but He is present with us in the fire.
✝️ The Battle for True Worship..
Daniel 3 – is a snapshot of where the bible says human history is heading.
There will be a battle between the false idols – false worship and Jesus, the lamb.
And finally in our response we brought our personal ‘even if’s….’ to a loving, strong, trustworthy, faithful, holy God! 🤲🏼

This Sunday at EBC, we’re continuing our Standing Out series as Niall takes us further into the story of Daniel.

STANDING OUT 🙏
A great Sunday today as we started a new series, Standing Out, looking at Daniel & Esther. Two lives that show us what it means to follow God faithfully when the pressure around us says, “blend in.”
This week, Pam took us through Daniel 1 & 2.
Daniel found himself in a foreign land, surrounded by pressure to assimilate and compromise. Yet he chose to stand firm in his convictions, while continuing to serve with humility, wisdom and excellence.
He didn’t stand out for attention. He stood out because his life pointed people towards God.
Pam left us with some important questions:
🙏 Under pressure, how do we respond?
💡 How do we hold onto our convictions without losing our love for others?
✨ How can we excel in the environments God has placed us in?
❤️ And how can our lives reveal who God is?
Daniel shows us that standing out isn’t about being perfect or making ourselves noticed. It’s about faithfulness, courage, prayer, humility and radical love.
“Seek the God of heaven, who reveals mysteries…” — Daniel 2:28

On Sunday 4th October we have a fantastic opportunity to go deeper & wider in our relationships across EBC - by inviting a few folks to join us for lunch after Church.
This can be at your home or a local cafe.
The whole point is to spend some quality time together over food (doesn’t need to be fancy!) and to get to know others better.
Consider….
🫶🏻inviting someone who serves on a team you are in that you don’t know very well yet!
🫶🏽inviting someone who you met last Sunday at our All Nations Gathering for the first time.
🫶🏼inviting someone who is on their own.
🫶🏽inviting someone who God lays on your heart.
🫶🏼inviting someone who you know always has others to their home.
Let’s go first! Let’s be proactive.

What an incredible way to finish our Global Week of Prayer! 🙌
Our All Nations Gathering was amazing! Hearing from Jenny & Tayo, worshipping together, and celebrating the beauty of our church family from every nation and background.
One church. Many nations. One incredible God.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and served. We’re so grateful for the way God is moving in and through our family. 🙏🏻
What a way to end Global Week of Prayer! 🌍
24 hours. So many holy moments. 🙏✨
From Friday into Saturday, we made space to pray, worship, listen, and meet with God. And what a time it was!
There were 3am conversations about miracles, moments of deep prayer, plenty of laughter, and stories of seeing God meet people where they were.
We’re so grateful for everyone who came, prayed, shared, served, stayed up, and gave their time to make this space happen.
God was in the room. God was moving. And we’re believing the prayers prayed will continue to bear fruit long after today. 🙏🏻

Our incredible Worship Team are ready to serve & lead us throughout the 24 hours as we intersperse prayer & worship.
EBC Youth will also be leading us in prayer.
